Harman made his for a third straight birdie to win the match after Fowler missed his attempt.

Harman’s childhood desire was to take home a green jacket at Augusta National Golf Club rather than winning The Open while growing up on a golf club in Savannah, Georgia.
In Georgia, “you grow up, it’s all the Masters,” Harman said. “It’s closeness. But when I arrived, I thought, “Wow, man, this is unbelievable.” The fans are amazing. Here, golf is understood by all. It was a pure joy to play.
“Managing it has been challenging. I believe someone said that I have had more top-10s since 2017 than anyone else, so there are many occasions when you finish and say, “Damn it, man, I had that one.” For whatever reason, that simply didn’t happen. I’m not sure why it happened this week, but I’m grateful that it did.
