Travis Scott’s long-anticipated new album Utopia has finally been released.

Utopia, Travis Scott‘s fourth studio album, was ultimately released on Friday, July 28 .

Lead single “K-POP,” featuring The Weeknd and Bad Bunny, came before Utopia. The exclusive livestreamed event, which was supposed to feature Scott performing the new album at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on Friday, has been postponed owing to “complex production issues,” according to a statement from Live Nation Middle East.

Five years after the release of his last studio album, Astroworld, the much awaited album. The album track “Delresto (Echoes)” features Beyoncé. Sampha and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver both appear on “My Eyes,” while Drake is featured on “Meltdown” which, two years after its debut, received an RIAA diamond certification and went on to become Travis Scott’s first No. 1 hit. At the 2019 Grammy Awards, Astroworld was also up for best rap album.

The Weeknd and Swae Lee appear on “Circus Maximus,” in their collaboration on the previously released song “K-Pop,” which they also appeared on alongside Bad Bunny. On “Fe! n,” Playboi Carti and Sheck Wes are featured. both India and Young Thug. It features Arie on “Skitzo.” In “Parasail,” Dave Chappelle makes an appearance. On “Lost Forever,” Westside Gunn makes an appearance. In addition, James Blake, Metro Boomin, the Alchemist, Boi-1da, Kanye West, Vegyn, and other artists are listed as having contributed to the album.

After a turbulent week for the rapper, whose plans included performing brand-new songs from Utopia in a live-streamed event near the Pyramids of Giza, the album finally drops. Eight days after Travis Scott refuted an earlier report of cancellation, the project was abandoned on July 26 due to “complex production issues.”

Along with the premiere of his brand-new movie, Circus Maximus, the Houston rapper also launched an album. The film will “take his audience on a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by the speaker rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album Utopia,” according to AMC. It is produced by A24 and written and directed by Travis Scott. On July 27, July 30, and August 1-2, the movie will be shown in a few AMC cinemas.

Prior to Friday’s release, he also posted each of the five Utopia album covers, which were taken by Pieter Hugo and Kristina Nagel, one at a time on his Instagram.

Travis Scott has received seven GRAMMY nominations during his career, but he has not yet taken home the trophy.
